In this Quick Tip, I demonstrate the use of Volume Pixel GENERATOR Tools, showing how it can be employed using different parameters and how to use the different presets Included.
Volume Pixel GENERATOR Tools
Contains a large palette of tools for CINEMA 4D. These tools allow you to convert any image or video and text to volume pixel, and also they help you to generate mosaic image and generate “matrix” text effect.
All those tools can support dynamic body, as well as effectors and forces. They offer many possibilities to animate your scene.

i’m VERY dissapointing about this tool, because it is very hard for machine to work with:
AMD FX(tm)-8350 Eight-Core Processor
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670
32GB RAM
Win7/64bit
– even with the slowest settings the tool (Editor-Window) gets lagged and it takes a LONG time to refresh the scene…very dissapointing…
is my machine to weak for this tool? If so, than you CAN (perhaps) tell it BEFORE someone buys it…

As I mentioned in the video demo, you need to work with a low resolution to optimize the display speed in the Viewport. You can use the desired resolution at the final render.

also for the extrusion, use “0” Value in “Extrude” http://youtu.be/tu6kXCSjfao?t=14m9s
If you use sphere shapes you can optimize this in “Sphere Options panel” you just reduce the segments.
Important! Increases the value in “ratio” to optimize your scene. Make “4” value or more for example
be careful (“1” value in ratio = high value , “5” = low value) is reversed.

I know, because the C.O.F.F.E.E. programming language has removed in R20. to solve this issue I must to replace all C.O.F.F.E.E node with python node.
There are 40 node in total in Volume Pixel GENERATOR Tools, that may take a little longer, just wait a few days and I do it.
